Recruitment of Engineers by Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited

Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited(HPPCL) is going to perform recruitment of Engineers on batch-wise basis. As per H.P. Govt. decision 50% vacancies of certain specified categories are to be filled up on batch-wise basis. The HPPCL has decided to recruit following posts
on batch-wise basis:

1. Assistant Engineer(Civil) 7750-14500 (initial start - 8550),No. of posts- 12 B.Tech./B.E. (Civil) with atleast 60% marks, Batches up-till the year below may apply-2008

2. Assistant Engineer(Electrical)-7750-14500(initial start- 8550)-, No. of posts-05, B.Tech./B.E.(Electrical) with atleast 60% marks, Batches up-till the year below may apply- 2005

3. Junior Engineer(Civil) 6300-10700, No. of posts-15 Diploma in Civil Engineering,Batches up-till the year below may apply- 2000

4. Junior Engineer(Electrical) 6300-10700,No. of posts-02 Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Batches up-till the year below may apply-1995

1. Only candidates who have passed out from Govt. owned/managed Engineering/Polytechnic colleges/institutions located in Himachal Pradesh are eligible for appointment.

2. Age-limit: 18-45 years as on 1.1.2009(Relaxation to reserved categories as per State Government Rules)

3. The eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed application form which can be downloaded from HPPCL web site hppcl.gov.in to “General Manager (Personnel) Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited,Himfed Bhawan, Panjri, (Below Old MLA Qts.), Shimla-171005.”

4. The selected candidates will be regularized after one year probation period.

The application must reach G.M (Personnel) on or before 10th June, 2009

General Terms and conditions for attending personal interview: Please bring following original certificates/testimonials along with one set of attested copies:-

1. Matric certificate.
2. Degree/Diploma of the minimum qualifications for the post along with
marks.
3. Proof of additional qualifications & registration card of employment
exchange, if enrolled.
4. Proof of experience.
5. Appropriate certificate if applying against any reservation.
6. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
7. 1- passport size photograph duly attested by gazetted officer.
