Walk-in for Technician at Himachal pradesh University, Shimla

Physics Department Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla has fixed Walk in Interview on 29.9.2009 at 11.00 A.M. in the room of the Co-ordinator ( SAP) Department of Physics, H.P. University, Shimla-5 for one post of Technician on daily wages basis @ Rs. 110/- per day as per University rules under Special Assistance Programme of University Grants Commission, New Delhi for the maintenance and upkeep of the instruments. The appointment of technician in the first instance will be for one year and will be renewed every year subject to the availability of funds by UGC and will be coterminus with the termination of the project.

The minimum qualifications required for trained technician will be as under;

i) Matric with Science as one the subjects
ii) ITI Certificate with 2 year experience in any one of the following
a) Electronics
b) Electrical
c) Computer / IT
d) Instrumentation
Or
Diploma in any one of the following

a) Electronics
b) Electrical
c) Computer / IT
d) Instrumentation
Or
B.Sc. with 1 year certificate course in any one of the following from recognized institute

(a) Electronics
(b) Computes / IT Hardware maintenance and up keep
(c) Instrumentation

The interested candidates possessing the requisite qualifications may come to attend the interview on the above mentioned date, time and venue along with all the certificates testimonials etc. of their qualifications. The candidates must bring with his/her an application written on a plan paper along with his/her attested copies of the certificate/testimonials etc to be given at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates coming to attend the interview.
