Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited(HPPCL), Shimla has invited applications for the post of JO(R&R) on contract basis:



Age : Between 18 to 45 years as on 1.1.2009 with usual relaxation to reserved categories.

Remuneration: For these categories fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 8000/- shall be paid for the first year, thereafter, a fixed remuneration of Rs. 10,000/- shall be paid on satisfactory performance for the next three years.

Allowances:TA & DA will however be paid when on tour as per entitlement of equivalent post. HRA/ House Lease/ Medical Reimbursement/ Vehicle Allowance will be paid as per company rules for equivalent post in addition to this.


Preference for selection will be given on the following order: -
i) Candidates belonging to Project Affected Areas.
ii) Candidates of concerned distt. in which project is located.
iii) Himachali candidates from any district.

Vacancies of SRF at NIT, Hamirpur

Department of Applied Sciences National Institute of Technology(NIT), Hamirpur has invited applications for one post of one post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) / Research Associate (RA)under the CSIR funded Project “Non-Linear Stability Analysis in Fluids”.

The minimum qualifications for post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) are M.Sc. (Mathematics)or equivalent degree and at least two year of Post-M.Sc. research experience.

The minimum qualification for post of Research Associate (RA) is Doctorate(Ph.D)in Mathematics or equivalent degree.

Interested candidates having the above qualifications must send their applications on plane paper with full Bio-data indicating the % age of marks obtained from Matriculation onwards. A consolidated fellowship of Rs. 14,000/-pm for SRF/ Rs. 16,000/-pm for RA in addition to HRA and MA as per NIT/HP Govt. rules will be paid. The appointment will be made for one year in the first instance, which may be extended upto date of completion of the research project i.e. 07-02-2011 (depend upon progress of R & D work).

HPSSB Excise and Taxation Inspectors test on 30th August, 2009

Himachal Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Board, Hamirpur will conduct written test at all district headquarters on 30th August, 2009 for H.P. Subordinate Allied Services (Post Code 0166).

Under Code No. 0166, the posts of Excise and Taxation Inspectors, Civil Supplies Inspector Grade-1, Extension officer (Industries) and Panchayat Inspector had been included for which single examination was being conducted.
