Since TET is mandatory from class 1st onwards as per RTE act, JBT candidates too have to appear for TET test. Probably HP Education department will come up with separate TET test for JBT candidates. Haryana Govt. advertised for common TET test for TGT and JBT with difference of papers. May be on the lines of Haryana, Himachal also either issue some amendment or conduct separate TET test for JBT candidates.

Since CET for JBT in H.P. had aleady been conducted by the Education deptt. through which the candidates have already selected for training through DIETs etc. it is not understood as to why these trained teachers are again subject to TET. H.P. Govt. can take a plea that since JBT of 2008-10 had already appeared in the CET conducted by the State Govt.it can not be reinforced again.
